Hi, my name is Lonisa, but everyone knows me as “Lala”. I’m a self–taught baker. I have always loved to bake. Initially, I wanted to own a bakery making custom cakes, but I never imagined my love for baking would turn into making macarons instead. I began making macarons in 2016 after I was introduced to one. I fell in love with the texture of the cookie along with the flavor.
After two years of trial and error to create the perfect recipe, I began selling macarons to friends and family. I loved baking macarons so much that “The Sift Bakery” was born. A one-woman bakery that specializes in creating unique colors and designs, and one-of-a-kind macaron flavors. I am truly grateful for my customers and all the relationships I have built along the way. I would not be able to have this business without all the love and support of my customers. Thank you!
